Meditating and praying this week I started to focus on the vision that God has given my family and what steps have to be taken to get there. As God took me into a secret place with Him I began to realize that one mans vision can’t be accomplished without His disciples having vision.
When God gives our Pastors vision for where they are taking their Church, there are disciples around them that have to know what the vision is and where God is taking the His body. That vision is the head and should be what each disciple is praying over daily. Once this happens and your heart is focused on the vision of your pastor, God is going to start giving disciples visions that help with the battle plan to reach the head vision.
For example, each ministry should always be focused on growth. If you’re not growing then you are stagnant and soon you will start having people fall because they aren’t growing and doing what Jesus commanded us to do. To take what He gave us out to all the world. Pastors and leaders want to see their Church on fire, with a passion that everyone in their region sees. They also get plans to do so such as small groups or other types of ministry. But it really comes down to leaders having vision that cause more of an impact in the region. To draw more hearts in and get these people in a passionate relationship with Jesus.
It is very easy for people now a days to focus on what they want to do instead of what God has set in front of them. Our first thoughts usually go towards the easy path because we don’t want to struggle or as men we don’t want to put our families at risk. But how do we expect God to do miracles in our own life if we don’t put trust in Him to provide. Instead we take things into our own hands and start thinking for ourselves.
God gives disciples vision to provide more vision into the house and help build a structure and culture of honor. If your disciples have vision and we just ignore it or blow it off because we are trying to think for ourselves or focus on what worked in the past, then we are taking away from what God wants to do in our own life and ministry. Let God work and if you trained your disciples right there is nothing to worry about! God has control!
